Why We Support
With Chrissy being a cancer warrior, we know from experience that some people don’t know what to do or say for their loved ones, but they want to do something to help and support. Chrissy’s Comforts© will enable them to do that. We want to help heal their mind, body, and spirit through an empathetic and holistic approach. Whether you are a patient, survivor, or caregiver you are not alone.

Defining a Cancer Warrior
"Someone who has battled any type of cancer at any time. Some warriors have beat cancer while others put up a valiant battle. A Cancer Warrior has looked this disease in the face and fought - whether it be for themselves or alongside someone."
Chrissy's Words for the Warriors
My journey has taught me patience. It’s made me slow down to a crawl, it made me realize that I had cancer, but cancer didn’t have me. It made me more diligent and to realize that I can’t rush my healing, It’s a process. It made me realize that one of the most important things in life is acceptance. Once I accepted the fact that this was my journey I was able to process it and then come up with a plan to overcome it. Once I was able to come up with a plan, I was able to get emotionally and mentally stronger.
I no longer saw cancer as the disease, the sickness, the weakness. I began to see healing, power, transition, rising up, conquering. I started out as a wounded lion in the grass, then I rose up and began to roar again. I realized that the direction my journey would take would be up to me. I had to fight for it. So I went from patient to survivor to conquerer. I saw myself healthy, I saw myself already healed. Now I feel like I can move mountains again. Everyone has their own journey, but I can tell you that it’s all in how you handle it.
Find your peace, find your power.
